Our 20th AGM unfortunately had to be held online on 10th December 2021, but we had a good turn out with over 40 people joining us. The brief formal AGM was followed by the annual update by our Conservation Manager, Ellie Beach. To view click on play button on the image below (little arrow bottom left hand corner).

Our annual talk this year was by Matt Gooch the North East Sites Manager for Suffolk Wildlife Trust (SWT). It was all about Carlton Marshes - titled 'Heritage Funding to Breeding Bitterns' - click on image below to watch talk.

With the shifting Covid-19 situation, we have unfortunately needed to change our planned Annual General Meeting and Members’ Evening on Friday 10th December at 7.30pm. It will be the same date and time but taking place online over Zoom, rather than in person as we had hoped.

For more information contact enquiries@lohp.org.uk and we will send you the Zoom details to be able to join us.

All things going well we are hoping to be able to hold this years AGM in person on 10th December 2021 7.30pm at Garboldisham Village Hall.

This years event will be a little bit different to other face to face AGM's as we will not be having any major refreshements, be limiting numbers and taking bookings to keep people safe and so we can contact people if we suddenly have to cancel or governement guidelines change.

Carlton Marshes - SWT

After the formal AGM our Conservation Manager, Ellie Beach, will give an update on LOHP activities over the year. The Creative Fen Group will also be displaying some of their work. Please do bring family and friends along – the formal AGM will be brief and will be followed by the annual talk.

This year’s talk is titled 'Heritage Funding to Breeding Bitterns', and will be given by Matt Gooch, the North East Sites Manager for Suffolk Wildlife Trust (SWT) Carlton Marshes. We are asking for a £4.00 contribution from non-members to cover costs. The evening is, of course, free to members.

Look forward to seeing you there. To book your place please email enquiries@lohp.org.uk or phone 07919 912045 - giving your name, number of people attending and contact details email/phone.
