Events
We run a range of activities, there is something for everyone including practical conservation work parties, events, talks, courses and guided walks to introduce members and visitors alike to the wildlife and landscape of the headwaters of the Little Ouse valley.
For all events and guided walks, we ask for a suggested donation of £3 for members, £4 for non-members unless otherwise stated.

Practical Conservation Work Parties
Want to get outside, learn some new skills and meet new people. Why not join us for our Practical Conservation Work Parties on Wednesday's, Thursday's and the 2nd Sunday of the month. Tasks include scrub clearance, pond digging, access improvements, habitat management and much more.

Join Little Ouse Headwaters Project (LOHP) as part of Pathmakers WalkNorfolk25 Festival, on a 3 mile (4.8km) circular walk and explore the hidden world of the upper Little Ouse Valley, its wetlands, woodlands, meadows and heaths. Learn all about the restored landscape and natural history which makes it such a special place. Take in the views of the restored Thelnetham Windmill and find out about some of the land-use history of the area. Look out for a variety of species and their signs in autumn. Most of the mammals are shy and retiring, but we might find signs of recent Otter activity.

Join LOHP on a short walk to explore the wonderful world of moss. Get close up and learn some fascinating facts about how to identify them. There will be the opportunity to ask lots of questions.
Stout footwear/wellies (depending on weather) recommended. Bring along a hand lens if have one (some will be available), notebook and pencil may be of use.
