Events
We run a range of activities, there is something for everyone including practical conservation work parties, events, talks, courses and guided walks to introduce members and visitors alike to the wildlife and landscape of the headwaters of the Little Ouse valley.
For all events and guided walks, we ask for a suggested donation of £3 for members, £4 for non-members unless otherwise stated.

Practical Conservation Work Parties
Want to get outside, learn some new skills and meet new people. Why not join us for our Practical Conservation Work Parties on Wednesday's, Thursday's and the 2nd Sunday of the month. Tasks include scrub clearance, pond digging, access improvements, habitat management and much more.

Join us at our AGM on Friday 5th December, 7.30pm at Garboldisham Village Hall. The formal AGM will be brief, and then our Conservation Manager, Ellie Beach, will give an update on LOHP's highlights over the last year, followed by our annual talk. This year we have two talks from LOHP’s very own Trustees. One by Dr Rob Fuller, ‘Creating ponds in a fen landscape’ the other by LOHP Chairman, Dr Rob Robinson, ‘Ringing on the Fen: What have we learned?’
Drinks and nibbles provided. There will also be an exhibition of work by Creative Fen Group. Please bring family and friends along. The event is free for members, we ask non-members for a minimum donation of £4. For more information contact enquiries@lohp.org.uk. We look forward to seeing you.

Join LOHP on Sunday 28th December 2025 10.30am to 12.30pm, for a gentle 2.8 mile (4.5 km) circular stroll around the fens, exploring the landscape and wildlife of the Little Ouse valley.
Wellies recommended. No need to book just turn up. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
